[dropcap]D[/dropcap]ecember can be the best time to visit the National Zoo – not just to see the animals, but the lights, ZooLights, that is — the Smithsonian National Zoo’s annual tradition of lights, music and moving animals. During ZooLights, powered by Pepco, more than 500,000 environmentally friendly LED lights transform the zoo into a winter wonderland after dark.
So come visit Zoo Lights before the season ends. Admission is free.
