REI is coming to DC and they’re throwing a block party for everyone:
Doors open at 10am Friday and Saturday; and 11am Sunday. Weekend highlights include:
Friday
Festivities kick off with the award-winning music of the Ballou Majestic Marching band, followed by Little Bacon Bear and other local DJs on the Store Stage. Cap it off with a night of s’mores and campfire lounging at the Wunder Garten from 4pm to 10pm.
Saturday
Wunder Garten activities fire up at noon with a full-day of instructional classes, including must-know knots, Smartphone Photography and how to brew the ultimate cup of camp coffee bliss. Plus, local DJ’s on the Store Stage from 11am to 9pm, and Biz Markie, Yellow Dubmarine, and others on our Mainstage @ Storey Park.
Sunday
Kickstart the morning with the Afro-Brazilian rhythms of the Batala Marching Band, followed by a full-day of local DJ’s on the Store Stage and live music on the Mainstage from War & Treaty, Banana Express and other regional artists. Plus, more instructional classes, games and s’mores in the Wunder Garten from noon to 10pm.

Parking Directions
Parking for REI can be found in the onsite garage accessed by turning North onto Congress street from L street between 2nd St NE (also called Delaware Ave NE) and 3rd St NE. An elevator in the garage connects directly to REI.
