Go Eat Gives Launches in DC

Go Eat Give is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting cross-cultural connection and understanding through food, travel, and community service. Our organization was founded in 2011 in Atlanta, Georgia, by Sucheta Rawal, an award-winning food and travel writer, cooking instructor, and philanthropist. Since then, Go Eat Give has educated over 10,000 people about diverse cultures around the world to put an end to bigotry and stereotypes and promote peace, diversity, and international understanding.

Every year we plan Volunteer Vacation Tours. These are specially designed and customized international tours where you can experience the authentic culture of another country. We organize volunteer vacations for group sizes 5-15, for all age groups. Packages include volunteer activities, cultural lessons, food tours, cooking classes, sightseeing, accommodations, transportation and guide. This year we will be traveling to eight destinations. Please see our website for the detailed itineraries.

We are also thrilled to announce the expansion of our program offerings to DC’s culturally-diverse community. As early as April, we will begin offering local Destination Dinners in the DC area. the first one one will be Destination Mexico on April 21st. These are ticketed events that showcase a different country’s cuisine and culture. Here is the information for your story:
