Fire Station 1 – Great Event for Charity

60s

On April 26th, 2014 for the first time, Fire Station 1  hosted our third annual Cinderella Care Comedy for Cure fundraiser. Our event was held on the second level with an attendance 80 plus Guest/Donors. From the onset of the planning, meeting with the own, etc the experience was great. The owner was cordial and personable. She went above and beyond to make sure our experience was nothing less than the best.

On the night of the event the staffs assigned to us were on point serving the guests with patience and paying attention to details and nuances. Even though it was a buffet style dinner it was done with taste. They made us feel welcome.

Our guest were pleased with the ambiance and service. Let’s talk about the food. The food was to die for. On the menu was the Mash Potatoes, Bourbon chicken, Grill Salmon, the famous Fire House Chicken Wings, and an abundance of Caesar Salad; not to mention and an assortment of dessert. Our taste buds were dancing with herbs, sauces, all the ingredients colliding together to burst into our senses, hmm hmm good!

Our guest continued to rave about the food. I happened to speak to one of our donors yesterday almost two months since the event and she was still talking about how nice everything was and the food was to die far. She said her mom who lives in the Virgin Island wanted to duplicate the mash potatoes.

Thank you Fire Station 1 for hosting Cinderella Cares Comedy For Cure, one joke at a time, in the fight against lung cancer fundraising event -see you next year for a repeat performance of your great food and customer service
