You definitely work up a sweat, and the job can have its hazards especially at busy job sites.
Not only do you have to ensure your load gets to the consignee on time, you also have to ensure your load is properly secured and tarped. And when you arrive at the receiver, unsecure and untarp — this all takes time and can be arduous work especially with inclement weather
Yes tarping can be a b*tch – sometimes I wish I drove a dry van.
A little bit more risk – a little bit more reward.
