It’s a New York deli meets Casablanca cafe.
[dropcap] T [/dropcap]he Carving Room, the Mount Vernon deli, just celebrated it’s Big Two and they’re dishing out some delicious carvings of poblano, pastrami, brisket, reuben and a great lineup of new beer. And it doesn’t stop there. Burgers, wings, and beer are a few of the reasons people come for lunch and end up staying for dinner.
If you’re the adventurous type and hunger for something a little different than what’s on the menu, you should inquire about their Test Kitchen selections. Cheesesteak omelettes and loaded fries were once testers and have now been permanently added to the new menu. With a friendly staff and a clean, well-lit environment, it’s an all-around feel good experience that is becoming a great stopping point for locals and tourists alike.
The Carving Room two-year anniversary was a great chance to win food, drinks, and gift cards in exchange for feedback. That’s just one way this restaurant values their customers. They take reservations, to go orders, and catering. They even take complicated orders!
