Tel Veh Switches Gears

Tel Veh has had a rough two years.  Going through three managers since it opened its doors the summer of 2012.  Known for its wine list and bottomless brunch, albeit with a two-hour limit,  it had its share of good days but mostly struggled to stay above water.  This summer was fairly busy but the restaurant was affected by the lengthy construction along Mass Avenue. Their try at Turkish cuisine, though good, just didn’t fare well with the new, younger demographic coming to Mt. Vernon.

Now Tel Veh’s name will be no more and neither will be its rich Turkish Cuisine. Tel Veh will sell to Rudy Keskin who will convert the kitchen to a more streamlined Mediterranean fare. The turnaround will be quick.  Rudy’s Mediterranean Grill will be open next Monday, Sept 8th offering free tapas for the first comers.
