Radio One Statement on canceling Wind Down Thursday:
Due to the overwhelming popularity of Wind Down Thursday, the success of the event has outgrown the MGM National Harbor venue. MGM has been a tremendous partner over the past two years and we look forward to collaborating with them on future events. Radio One will be evaluating venue options for Wind Down Thursday in 2023 and will share more details as they become available.

We are aware of a viral video on social media showing a disagreement between patrons at MGM National Harbor on Saturday, July 30th. Despite suggestions otherwise, this incident had nothing to do with our Wind Down Thursday event, or the decision to relocate the event moving forward.
