The MOCO Fair welcomes more than 100 cars from across the Mid Atlantic to see which vehicle can outlast the rest. Cars must navigate the track to keep damage to a minimum if they are to win the heat and make it into the finals. Cars are judged by the crowd as to who has the wildest and wackiest decorations. And cars must navigate the track while trying to damage the competition. The last car remaining wins.
Besides the Derby, the fair includes livestock exhibits, homemaking exhibits, carnival rides, bull riding, tractor pulls, musical concerts, children’s activities, pig scrambles, and a whole lot more.
The Montgomery County Fair runs until Labor Day, Sept 3rd.
