[dropcap]B[/dropcap]owling has gone through a major transformation since its heydays in the 90s.
There has been a steady reduction in bowling leagues over the years and investors have realized that bowling centers can be sold and the land could be used for more profitable ventures.
The decrease in league bowlers is the main reason there has been a sizeable decline in the annual number of bowling participation days, or attendance at bowling centers over the last 40 years.
