Main line of storms has exited to the east of the Chesapeake Bay. But storms will linger in Southern MD a while longer, with scattered showers and a few thundershowers overnight. Still, the weather did little to dampen the protestors mood for the seventh night in a row.
Friday starts warm and humid with partly cloudy skies. Scattered showers and storms in the afternoon and through the evening.
Saturday, the weather will be perfect. Mild and dry – perfect for another big protest in front of the White House
“We have a lot of public information to suggest that the this Saturday may be one of the largest that we’ve had in the city,” D.C. police Chief Peter Newsham said during a briefing Thursday.
“We expect that Saturday’s demonstration will, like I said, be more of the same peaceful demonstrators coming to exercise their First Amendment right in Washington, D.C.”
