Farewell Ole Mio

To Our Loyal Patrons, Lovers of Fine Food, Great Drinks, and The Good Life, We want to personally reach out to all of you who we have met over the years, who have embarked with us on this wonderful journey we created. You have helped us build the joys of the Mio Restaurant experience.  We include in this announcement those who we have yet to meet, but who are always welcome at our table, and the bar, of course!
We have some very exciting news to share: After decades in the restaurant business and running Mio for 9 years, we have decided to close Mio Restaurant effective December 31st, in order to devote our energies full time on our next restaurant concept, which has been in the works for some time now.  Details will be revealed in the upcoming months.
We owe all the people who made Mio great over the years a huge Thank You, including our guest chefs.  Most noteworthy perhaps, our innovative “chef-for-a-day” programs raised thousands for local non-profits, and our utmost appreciation goes to the stellar staff who have always work diligently during the good and challenging times.
We may be closing one door, but an exciting one will be opening soon.  We’re looking forward to our upcoming new endeavors in the culinary world of our Nation’s capital.  We will have additional information in the near future.  Please stay tuned and in touch.  Our social media channels will remain open to keep you informed.
Best wishes during this holiday season and all the best for the new year.
