Construction Workers Stuck on a Boom in SE DC

DC Fire and EMS have rescued two construction workers stuck about 10 stories high on a disabled boom lift in the Navy Yard neighborhood in Southeast DC.

The construction workers were working on a building in the 1200 block of First Street SE.

Using a ladder, both workers was rescued by the first responders at around 6:20 p.m. Tuesday. The workers were stuck for almost two hours and appear to be ok.
