For many years, it was billed as the biggest street festival in DC — that is until the H Street Festival took the crown. The combination of food, culture, arts and crafts along the entire 18th Street ensured hundreds of thousands of attendees a good time.
Now Adams Morgan Day is no more, at least for this year.
Due to problems with the books (The event still owes the DC gov and police $30,000), mismanagement of funds — commingling of funds in the organizer’s (Marc Morgan) personal and organization bank accounts, Adams Morgan Day is cancelled for this year.
Event organizers promise a bigger and better event for 2016. But perhaps no under the current name. For now, we’ll just have to look forward to the H St Fest
